We got a lot of thunder/lightning and a bunch of rain but no more up my way. The last count I heard on the death toll in south Bama was 18 but I'm not sure if that's a final count.

Count is down to about 8.  Think they got a little loose w/numbers last night.  Understandable though, I think they have to assume the worst until all are accounted for.

Dothan area fared pretty well.  North and West of here got hammered.

Just a few limbs and leaves in Houston Co., AL really.

I saw on The Albany, Ga. T.V. station where a check dated 1970 was blown from Enterprise to Americus, I believe, and landed in a man's front yard. Also heard of some stuff from the school in Enterprise  being found over 100 miles away...

My wife and I left Gulf Shores that morning for Pensacola airport for a 9:15 flight to Atlanta.  We should have been home in southern MI by way of Kalamazoo airport no later that 5:50 in the after noon.  However with all the weather turmoil, we didn't leave Pensacola until 2:30 or so.  We finally walked in our door at home at 12:40 am!  That was weather I was glad stayed south!!
