I dug my way to the shed door to get the tractor  out to dig my way out of the snow that got me hemmed up here at home.
When I put the tractor away I looked at the 4" dredge sitting along the jeep and I looked at the 4" suction hose all patched up with duct tape I used to repair it while dredging up in Alaska last summer.
I have the new hose and I decided to change over the fittings so I can get an early start as soon as the ice gets out.
I always have a problem gluing the power jet quick coupler on with Silicone, the stuff always breaks loose.
What do you guys use? is there something that works better?

Hi Kurt,
Just wondering,what is the base metal on your dredge ?
Aluminum ?
If so,you might have someone to weld a short nipple,or a quick fitting.Such as those
with the 2 arms on each side to lock to the fitting.
That should do away with the silicon rubber.
