found some time today to mount my new 6x24x44 Konus mil dot scope to my .223 handi today. looks awesome with the choate varmint stocks and bipod, i dinked around with is outside and as far as optical quality i would say it compares pretty well to my nikon 3x9x40 buckmaster scope that was previously on my .223 handi, which i installed on my 795 marlin .22 today also, walked around outside aiming at various objects from various distances and im pretty impressed with the optics for the price. its a little hazy up at the 24 power but with that high of power things arent goin to be perfectly clear. also its hard getting used to having to focus the objective that makes a difference also i noticed. all in all im impressed,i hope i can get it on paper soon and choot some tight groups but this weather is teriible here in northeast iowa, smow, rain, freezing rain, ice storm, blizzards, major power outages(still in effect in some areas) you name it it has happened this past week!
