It's been years since I played seriously.  My buddies and I used to be heavy into it.  Woods ball, not this open field crap.  I'm sure mine is a familiar story, though.  I got married, got kids and got out of playing.  I'd still pick up the guns if there were anyone local that played, but my old buddies are now in the military and pretty busy.

what you do is a mock war , paintball is nothing sep high speed tag .

ya i played alot before i got in the army i don't have time for in now and my team is 1200 miles away. its hard to get big in it with out a sponser going through 1500rds of paint per game is hard on your pocket, but then again if you when alot people pay you
curiosity killed the cat , but i was lead suspect for a while

yeah we are more of woods ball and not real big on the speed ball.  too much paint for us poor guys, but with woods ball you can play the majority of the day on 2000 or so rounds.

My friends and I play more a mixtures between woodsball and speedball. We play in the buffer zones between fields and in the little groups of trees. How long are you playing that you go through 2000 rounds. Is that just you or you+friends.

Got another player here.  I've been playing for about three years now.  My brothers got me into.  My brother had a 98 with a sniper barrel (don't remember what brand).  You could seriously snipe guys off between 80 and 100 yards.  Wasn't good enough for him, so he bought an A-5 and the End Game barrel.  That gun shot so nice, I had to get one myself.  It was a huge improvement over my Spyder.

We mainly play woods ball.  We do a little scenario too.

I live between Eau Claire and La Crosse Wisconsin, so if any of you guys live in the area, let me know.

Yeah, I used to play speedball.  I got hooked after one woodsball game.  I started out from newbie to Novice in 3 months (was beat up pretty bad, from getting bunkered ;)).  Finally got to semi-pro in the PSP playing 5 man.  Our team was 3rd in the world in 2003 (like i said... used to play).  We started up a Xball team, but I quit due to all the politics and buddy/buddy junk going on.  Also was tired of being broke; we had sponsors, but they didn't cover the airfare, hotel, food bills or the practice paint every weekend and local tourneys fees either.

Got the bug again in 2005 (guys needed a "coach").  Started out coaching them, but they kept begging me to play... so I did.  I helped them from dead last to first place in a month (bad practices and technique).  Anyways I got mad and quit again because I was about to get married and I asked them to let me take care of that stuff, but they wouldn't keep pressing the issue so no more team play for me.

I still love paintball though.

Been playing for ten years now, Played speedball for the first 8 years and got sick of playing the same game over and over again but still love the high end tourney markers. (just bought a 1 of 9 planet eclipse geo) played d2 for three years (was accually ameture b back then)  Now I have my own Scenario team and we play around new england. An I just tech guns on the side for fun.
