44 Caliber Bullets and 500S&W Bullets
« on: March 04, 2007, 11:22:19 AM »

Here are some of my 44 bullets.  With the last two being 500 S&W bullets.
Wonder if they would be okay for hunting?

Is bullet number 3 from left a Lee 310gr?
I am going to SA in April for hunting, and I will be using this bullet for the hunt. It gives me great accuracy.
Anyone with experience with this bullet?

I'd like to try that #3 bullet in both the 44 mag and the 444.  It looks like it was designed for a number of different overall cartridge lengths.  Mikey.

Bullet line up:
1.   Hensley & Gibbs 250
2.   Hensley & Gibbs 250
3.   Lee 310
4.   Hensley & Gibbs 315
5.   SSK 320
6.   LBT 320
7.   Lee 450
8.   Mountain Mold 445
Number 4 was the bullet Randy Garrett used in his 44 Mag loads until he jumped ship and went with a close copy of the LBT design.
