« on: March 05, 2007, 09:55:21 AM »
I was just wondering if any ya'll with the 243s have used any 95gr or 100gr bullets in this rifles.I am thinking of getting one but wanted to know how bigger bullets shot. Any feedback is welcome.

Yup...Seems like the 95 grainers will shoot pretty good...I am going to be trying some of the CT's Silver BT's in 95grain just to see how they do as well..I might even try some of the 100 grain A-max Hornadys and see how they shoot too...

I stopped by Wal-Mart on the way home from work on looked in the special order book and they listed the 243 compact for $276.06. I am sure thinking about it I have been kinda wanting one to try out since I saw them on the market. I gave a optima muzzleloader a good look over at Bass Pro Shop when I was on vaction.( we do not have anything like that place in my neck of the woods) and it felt nice and I think they should have the same feel as the elite.
