No Bill the admin of a other site posted some info on his site several years ago. maybe google saw the light and changed their attitude I do not know but at the time this is what he posted at his site. I have no reason not to believe him as I take you for face value on what you say too.
Here is his post dated August 6, 2003:
Yesterday I subbmited a pay per click advertisment to Google Adwords. It provided me with a list of words it advised would be good to promote my site. Today I went and looked at my performance and low and behold here are the results of thier recommended Key phrases. THere were quite a few others but I only included the ones they disapproved. Below that is the email I instantly fired off to customer service. Here is the contact email if any of you care to add your .02C worth.
https://adwords.google.com/select/main?cmd=ContactUs If you do, please let all of us know what you sent and their response back to you. I want to make it clear under their terms of service it states the only disallowed words were words that were illegal in the countrys they are advertised. I specifically set it up to only include the US.....
handguns (disapproved)
gun auction (disapproved)
gun auctions (disapproved)
gun control (disapproved)
gun shop (disapproved)
gun store (disapproved)
guns (disapproved)
guns for sale (disapproved)

In reviewing my account I see you have removed all inquiries that involve the word guns. I am offended and plan to take severe action to correct this situation. I run a completely legal, US BATF APPROVED (CHECK IF YOU NEED TO I WILL GLADLY PROVIDE YOU MY FFL NUMBER). My second amendment rights allow me and others the right to keep and bare arms and your policies are obviously anti Gun. I would like to know exactly why you disapproved my site. EXACTLY WHY. I shall then take action necessary to ensure that you cannot control the content of perfectly legal and professional web services. You can obviously control the words you allow. Is that legal? I am no attorney however I will assure you this. There will be a whole community and a number of organizations (including the NRA) who would love to hear your explanation. 60% of the population takes advantage of their second amendment rights. I can assure you, many believe in them strongly. If would like to lose a very large group of individuals from using your site ever again I suggest you have a pretty good explanation of what the problem is. There are a number of organizations in this country with very deep pockets who would love the opportunity to jump all over this story. As well as many politicians. I will await your response for about 48 hours and which point I will forward all info to the aforementioned organizations. They have a whole team of lawyers who do nothing but fight things of this nature. And believe me. They win. After all it is our constitutional right. You may want to do your research on recent cases prior to your reply. And I assure you I intend to see this to the end. This is my lively hood.
I withheld his name and other info he signed off here. Jim
