Browning Eurobolt II
« on: March 08, 2007, 10:04:29 AM »
Just picked up one of these in .30-06. Interestingly, it appears that the European single set trigger (CZ-type system) was removed by Browning and replaced with a "normal" trigger. NOT WITH ORIGINAL SET TRIGGER  is engraved on the barrel just below Browning's address. Anybody here know if this was the case with all Eurobolts imported to the USA ? I can see where they might have perceived it as a liability issue-- there is even a safety warning in the user manual that says that the set trigger is "only intended for informed users." Unfortunately, since not too many of these were sold here, there is very little information about these guns available online.
