I need a grain drill. A grain drill that works and isn't going to set me back financially.
Broadcasting seed by shoulder mounted crank seeder is not too good for getting the correct rate of application. Sorghum seeded in this manor exceeded my wildest imagination when it hit 9.5' in elevation and choked out everything so thick it was that you couldn't see in and wildlife couldn't see out. A drill is likely the better way to spread seed for uniformity, correct rate, and ease. I could recoup the dollars in unwasted seed.
