cattleman grips

ive seen a few , 1873 cattleman  with the birdshead grip in a 4 3/4 barrel , and i really like the look, i have 2 cattleman now well 4 really 2 caseharden an 2 old west finish, i wonder if there would be a chance if yu could buy just the grips ? and it  they would fit my  regular cattleman?think its the  same grip frame? or iam thinkin they run a different grip frame on them? think i could order a set from somewhere?

I am pretty sure the grip frames will fit, but they are expensive!!!!!  Bisley frames will not unless you change the hammer and trigger.

real expensivr yu say?? well might as well wait till i run across a birdshead for sale or a new one ,couple on gunsamerica i should nab just hate the shippin and not bein able to handle one before i  buy it
