H & R springfield trap door 1873 Repo's.

 They used to make a Repo of the 1873 Springfield trap door 45 -70 has anyone seen one or seen one for sale ? I would like to get one if the price is right.

There's a thread about them in the Misc H&R Talk forum, complete with pics. They were made by the now defunct Harrington and Richardson that went out of business in 1986.

I won't be spending any of my "disposable income" on one... but I might if I had much more income to dispose of   ::)

I expect my definition of "reasonable" would  change with more. Right now actual reasons for disposing of income are kinda restricted to basics like bullets, primers, powder.  ;D ;D - that is after the other basics like rent, food, taxes etc... :(

I understand what you mean by disposable income. When you are on a low fixed income !
   For me something 500 or less, the more less the better.
