I read in a previous post that 444 Marlin barrels will be made the same way as those made for Marlin lever actions, with correct bore and rifle twist. Is this true? If so will new 44 magnums come from the same process except for a different chamber? Seems it would be an obvious fix given the problems many have had with 44 magnum NEF's.
