Sir, I feel for you, back in the early 90's I lost a disc in my neck and two in my low back. Never have let them cut on me, but understand having it done. Mother is in her 80's and her and the ladys she prays with will be praying for you. Don't be trying to carry things that are too heavy to haul in a pick up truck. That is what gets us in this shape. Laugh now, you will be too sore to laugh for several days. You are in our prayers, may you have a speedy recovery. FB

Good luck Lloyd.
I got a couple of bad disc and a pinched nerve in my neck so I know what your going through is uncomfortable.  The doctor said I'll probably need to get it cut on sometime.  Went through some phyical therapy for it that helped a lot.  Riding a bicycle seems to help the most, but it took a long time not to go someplace without keeping the Vicadin handy. I'm sure we'll all be thinking of you and praying for you.

Well I'll be the first to volunteer to keep your gun barrels warm while you are recovering.  Just drop them off at the house here on your way the the hospital.  Are you going to have it done in Marquette?  When is the big day?

Man! I hate to hear that! :( My uncle had a similar surgury back in the 80's, and he pretty much was immobile for weeks. It was a good while before he completely recovered. Hopefully they're better with that stuff nowdays.

As much as I know it'll kill you, you better leave the lead buckets alone for a while! :)

Good luck, and we'll say a few prayers for you, and a speedy, as pain free as possible recovery.

Lloyd, you know that I was just messin' with ya.  If I know you, you'll have all the nurses on your floor lined up waiting to shoot one of your 500L's out the window of your room while you're in there.

Lloyd
During my recent hospital stay I noted that they had the wireless routers in the ceilings of the hallway wings that were spaced out every 30' or so and allowed for a guest login providing the patient had a laptop with the built in wireless card. I did have access to one of the laptops via family member but just felt too poorly to have them bring it up.

I dont know if they have this up at Marquette, or if you have access to a laptop with the wireless capability but wanted to let you know that this technology might exist there.

Sorry to hear the bad news Lloyd. If there is a bright side is I bet you get back into handgun shooting shape far quicker than rifle shooting. Take it easy and be glad you went nuts casting bullets when you did so your stocked up when you are up to shooting again.

Good luck Sir. I have not had any back injuries that required surgery, but I have hurt my back a few times with some of the weird stuff I have done. Hurts bad & when your back is down, you are down.

I wish you a speedy recovery.
