Ok folks.Quick ordered a .444 Marlin barrel and a checkered camo laminate stock set on the barrel program today. This is the poll you vote when Quick gets his gun back and the person that is the closest wins. Good luck I just wish we could a pitch in a buck and send the money to the winner. Just not sure that is legal. I did not think of this till now but you would have to leave a post as to the day you picked or I will not be able to tell who won.

I picked 21 June, first day of summer -- thinking about warm weather gets me through the day. Did get out to the range last weekend, but almost had to wear hip boots to get around, as it's both snowy and muddy. But I got in some trigger time! Woohoo!!

Hey guys, Not to mess up the bet but checked with H&R today and they do not have the barrel blanks from their supplier(Marlin) yet. They said they are due in next week and then it is another3- 4 weeks to completion. So where does that put the delivery date to Quick?

Well, considering it's an accessory barrel and not a complete rifle, which I would expect to be made after a batch of new rifles is on it's way to distributors, it's probably gonna be mid summer before I see it, there's probably a bunch of Mississippi boys in line ahead of me already, anyway!! I'm sure glad it's an extra frame and not one I'd need to shoot other barrels, that would make for a real looooong wait!!
