Handi-Rifle Aftermarket Stock
« on: March 15, 2007, 03:10:32 PM »
Does anyone  have and aftermarket stockand and forearm from Gun Stock Inc. ?  If you do, how would you rate their products? How long did it take to get the stock? Are there any other aftermarket stock sources?

I have had two sets that I bought from shooter72.  I think they are both very nice.  One is solid walnut.  The other was a red lam.  Both are straight, english style stocks.  I traded the lam set to spanky9973.  They were very nice looking, but I decided not to use them.  I am finding I am not a huge fan of the english style stock.

As for your other questions, since I got them from greg, I won't be much help.

seafox ,
gunstocks inc. has great products . i have ordered a few sets and there shipping time is not very long usually around a week or so . the stocks are very nicely done there is not much fitting at all and they have several styles to chose from . if you go with them you will not be disappointed .

Do their stocks come finished or do you have to put the finish on them?  I was thinking of getting a Varmit forend and working it over...shaving it down some and using it on a shotgun...just because I like the meatyer look and it is longer than a standard forend.  Just another idea floatin' around in my head. ;D

CM

They come just as you see them , un-finished and you can reshaoe them to your needs and then put the finish of your choice on them .

slap a half dozen or so coats of tru-oil on them and they will look great. Move over sliced bread, Tru-oil is one of the great products of our time.
