Reminds me of big brother's Handi, he is a southpaw too! Wow, both rifles!  ;D

LOL! Thanks MT. I bought it with 3 clips, a clip holster and a hoster with the gun with 200 rnds of ammo for 400 bucks. Not too bad! I love it!

The handi is an awsome shooter. I just wish that i could match it. Had a 2 second shot on a runnin yote today but stoped leading him as soon as i pulled the triger. Maybe next time. It was sure a nice day to get out and enjoy the outdoors!

Thanks Aaron! We just kept finding em one ravine after the other. All the sign that we saw was way old though. Looked like there hadnt been elk in there for at least a few months. They got about 4 feet of snow a while back and i think that it pushed em to lower levels. And thats prolly were all the big boys dropped but was still fun to find some little guys down in there and i am plumb happy. Its good to be home but it can only last so long. I leave on sun afternoon. :( But hopfully the month and a half will go by fast! :)

henry, Thanks for sharing ther pics. Nice looking rifles and pistol. For future reference, the item one uses to load rounds in and then insert into your s/a pistol is called a removeable box magazine or just magazine. A clip is a flat slightly curved piece of heart treated steel that has slight "lips" formed on the one edge and holds rounds of ammunition and is used to load rifles like the Garand or SKS.

If you have never seen one, let me know and I'll post a pic.

Good looking bunch of firearms there Henry ... you're doing pretty darn good for yourself. Keep that time with your Dad going ... it doesn't get any better than that. I might be heading your way in a couple of weeks on my way to Utah. I just might have to stop by and borrow that new 45/70 of yours ... just for a season or two ... lol ...

Do you see a lot of coyotes in your area?

Thanks for that info carbineman! Now i just have to teach myself to remember the difference.

Handi243, time with dad is what makes the whole thing. Your right, it is the REAL PRIZE! Everything else was just an extra neat little thing.

bigjeepman, Ya i just keep adding more and more to the collection. Come on by! It would be great to meet you in person! Let me know by pm or by email what day you will coming through that way i can make sure i have time off from work and school. LOL! Know what you mean with the 45/70. I am thinking about takeing it back up to school with me. I took some other rifles out of the Police Station, so now i have room to bring others up. and the range will be opening soon too. still not sure yet. if i did then i would have to bring my portable loading stuff back up. but only time will tell what i decide.

thanks guys!

Henry.
