rimfire hunter rifle competition

I am getting into rimfire hunter rifle competition. Scopes have to be 6X. One can use something like a 3-9 and set it a 6 power. I am on a budget and am looking at scopes such as Simmons and Bushnell. Are these any good for this type of target shooting?
Any suggestions?

I just replaced a one year old Simmons. I expected better service.

Natchez has Weaver T-6 HBR scopes on sale for $180 or so now. Those work well, and for that price you wouldn't want to pass it up.
