Looking for bullet mould
« on: March 17, 2007, 06:14:54 AM »
I am looking for RCBS bullet mould 055015 590-520-M. This is the mould designed by Jim Goodwin for 577 Snider. I only want a bullet cast from this mould. I am going to send the bullet to Barry Darr to have a cherry made so he will have it on inventory for those who want a mould.

If you have this mould please contact me.

It looks like this may be an E-Bay project.

I have a custom LEE mould for a solid base .592 bullet.  It was designed by an experienced Snider marksman, and gunmaker, Kerry Jenkinson in Grand Forks BC, Canada.  I have a few made up, if you are interested.  I will post the measurements and description later today.  Here it is!

DESCRIPTION;
Weight (wheel weight metal) about 515 grains (Off my scale a bit!)
Diameter (W-W)  .594
Length  .800
Form;  Round nose with two grease grooves of moderate size, the front edge of the top groove is .411 from the base.  bevel base.
