I use either Uncle Mikes 6 cartridge or Franks 2 cartridge wrist carrier for both handgun and rifle hunting. Frank's wrist carrier can also be found in the Fox River catalog. Both are great products. You just gotta decide on how many cartridges you want on yor wrist.

I use Allen buttstock ammo carrier's. You can get them at Midway  http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=230112 for $4 each instead of the T\C site for $26 each.

I can't believe T\C actually sells their buttstock shellholders for that price. The Allen's hold 9 shells each and I have one on my 223 that's been there for 2 years and nothing has fallen out yet.

$26 for a piece of streachy fabric? LOL...Gheezz....talk about markup!

Dave.

I have used the wrist shell holder and the 9 cartridge holder on the stock. I want to try this one though.

I carry mine in my pocket so far as well, but this season want to get a wrist holder.  The pocket is real slow for me getting the second shot off.  The TC wrist holder looks like the ticket for me.

I use the butt stock holder, but I'm thinking about the wrist holder.

But, then, who needs more than one shot?  :D

I have used butt stock ammo holders quite abit. I tried the wrist holder but it was'nt for me.
I usualy use a slide on belt type on a fannypack or on a backpack only problem  is taking
the buckle off and on to put it on. I realy like the Butler Creek Alaska Magnum Sling which holds
4 shells, I have this on several of my rifles It's handy.

I use the flex holder from TC.  The stock holder doesn't work for me with an ambi stock.  I use the wrist holder when I use my Contender and Encore pistols.

One note on the flex holder is that it does go on pretty tight and it changed the point of impact.  Fortunately I discovered this at the range and not out in the field.

I use the Allen buttstock holder. I think I got it at Cabelas for less than $10.

I use Uncle Mike's wrist band...over time, elastic may stretch on large cartridges...(30-06 or larger). I can get several seasons out of it before I need to replace and lessen the concern for losing a cartridge. I find the wrist band the quickest method for me to reload.

That's what I have;  An old Kolpin from Walmart that I've used for .223, .243, & 45/70.  It's stretched out pretty good now after 5 years of interchangeable use but I still use it for 45/70 and will be getting a new one before next hunting season.

I use an Eagle Industries stock pouch.  It's expensive but well made.  I stick a bikini scope cover, a lens cloth, some electrical tape, and some flagging tape in it.  When I have the .22 barrel on, I take out all that stuff and put some .22 shells in the pouch instead.
