When was this Win. 94 / .30-30 manufactured??

1) Could someone w/more knowledge & reference material tell me when this rifle was made?

Winchester model 94, .30-30, serial # 4561297

2)What do you figure it's worth? (a used gun I'm interested in buying)

It is a pre-safety model, w/some scratchs in the stock & a lil' rust around the receiver.
Nothing fancy, would just be a good hunting gun.

the 94 was manufactured in 1977 . the 94's made around that time period generally sell for
$250 - $275 in good condition . if the one you are looking at has some light surface rust than probably around $200 - $225 . at least that is what they are selling for here in the northeast . hope this helps .
