Superior Arms

Anyone have any experience with Superior Arms Ar 15's ? I looking to buy an AR 15 and don't know much about them  ( we used M14's when I was in the Army) I know I want a flat top  and light weight..............Thanks

Flat top and light weight? Well it could happen but the weight is there when you get a decent barrel.  A flat top is for 95% scope use and the AR's have great accuracy.....  I am partial to Rock River Arms.  A bit more money but worth it in the long run.  I guess the bottom line is what will you use it for?  My RRA AR is capable to 600 yards and beyond.  I have the NM A-4 with a removable handle which converts to a flattop.

If you are just looking for a "shooter" go with a chrome lined bore.  Twist is VERY important.  I have the 1 in 8 to stabilize the heavier 223 bullets.

Ended getting a DPMS Hi rise upper with a CMMG 1:7 chrome lined barrel. Mounted a red dot scope for now. Will use mostly  for coyotes, varmits.  Has nice trigger job, and weight is less than 8lbs.
