They only had 379 tags (cool number by the way lol) for TMU 37, but sold out in 31 minutes, that is fast

I live in TMU 37 and sent out for 37 and I drew a tag for TMU 40 go figure!!!!!

The 379 tags we're talking about in TMU 37 are the leftover tags. That is the surpluss left over from the lack of folks entering in the draw.

But the beauty in Wisconsin turkey hunting is that the opportunities are quite abundant these days. Even if a guy forgets to enter the December draw, he can still grab a leftover tag somewhere in the state come spring. I see zone 3 alone had like 2500+ leftover tags. To me, that is crazy high  ;D

still a lot of tags left......My youngest and I originally had the same season in two different zones. Got him and the oldest son tags yesterday for a different season.....then looked at the calendar and realized that was the weekend of the Wausau Firemens MDA ride. Went back into the website this morning and got them earlier seasons. I ain't worried about myself......between my one season, the early youth season for the youngest, and their other two seasons, I'll be gettin more'n enough turkey huntin' in this spring. ;D
