Just got off the phone with Datil (Marve). After talking about our 357 Max's he wanted me to tell everyone his compture has gone bad and it may be a week or so before he is back on line. His words where, he is having with drawels. I think some of us know how he feels.

The older software had a spell checker, but this one doesn't. $:-\$ I use the google toolbar which has one that works with most web sites. It works well with IE or Firefox and can be downloaded free.

I don't have a spell checker, but I think I still get my point across. Most of mine are typos due to arthritic fingers, and I'm not too concerned about it, I think you guys can figure it out.

It bothers me not much at all to see old codgers misspelling words but danged if it don't bother the crap outta me to see just how truly illiterate so many of the teens are who come here. Dang it they are in school now and needing to get a good education to make a living in this modern world and many of them spell so poorly and have such poor grammer I can barely read what they type. For the most part I just don't even try.

Do what I do, I type my reply poor grammar and all then highlight the text and hit Ctrl C to copy it to the clipboard. I leave outlook open and create mail. Paste my text with Ctrl V and run spell checker. Copy and paste to the reply page.

Better yet leave create mail in outlook open then type and spell check then copy to the reply box and you are all done.

The google spell check is too easy to use to want to mess with any other program, just hit the check button and it changes any anomalous words to bold red, then click the word and a drop down offers alternatives, click the best choice and the red word changes to green and you can move on to the next word. When all done, either click the spell check button again, or click the message field and turn the spell checker off. And it's free! Work with WinXP, Vista, 98/Me, IE6 or 7 and Firefox. And the google search engine is top rated, easy to use and the most popular.

Marve---Glade you are back. If you call remember I went back to work today on light duty. It fells good to back after the fall. Now I know why I can't spell, Sourdough gave me the clue remember I lost a little finger when I fell. So that must be the reason I can't spell.

Some of us old Hillbillies don't care about spelling mistakes. We're close enough, and if you can't figure it out you don't need to read it anyway.
