44mag 320 WLNGC?
« on: March 23, 2007, 12:55:32 PM »
I got some 320g WLNGC bullets for my 44 mag. My question is does anyone know where I can find some reloading data for these. The only thing I have found is on the hogdon web site for 325ger's. Will this data work? Thanks in advance for any info. Ian

I believe you can use the data for any 300gr jacketed bullet. (as pressures will be less with a lead bullet) Remember to reduce load by 10% and work up. I shoot those in a 10" contender usinga hefty dose of H110. Really accurate in my gun but you will want to hold on to it.

I have had good luck with 18.5 grs. of H-110 with a 315 gr, gas check, Winchester brass, CCI mag primers.  In a 10" Contender, they ran 1,350 fps., and shot well under 1" at 50 yds.  18.0 grains H-110 with the same bullet runs around 1,100 fps. in a 4" S&W.
