Would really like to duplicate something like this load or even a 110 gr. load. If anyone has ideas, I'd like to hear 'em

I've  only seen it in 30/30 and that is what I'd llike to dupllicate.

My chicken load for cowboy silhouette in 30-30 is either a 100 or 110-grain Speer bullet over Varget powder. I forget the exact powder charge, but it's a very mild load. I usually step up to the 130-grain Speed Hot-cor for pigs and turkeys just for a better ballistic coefficient and a little more accuracy for turkeys, though.

What are you using for rams? I have used Rem managed recoil 125 for everything except I use 150 for rams.

For rams, I plan to use the 150-grain Speed Hot-cor bullets over 34.0gr of Varget. I haven't shot any of the centerfire cowboy matches yet this year, but last year I used the same powder charge pushing the 150-grain Winchester Powerpoints and they worked just fine. The Speers have a bit better ballistic coefficient and shoot a bit better, so I have no reason to believe that they won't work at least as well on rams as the Powerpoints did, and I can use them for a hunting load, too.
