I always admired that Model 7 Mannlicher that Remington offered in the Custom Shop.
For years the price on that rifle was some where around $1400. Late last year, I noticed that the price jumped to over $1700. Which still isn't all that bad considering it is a Custom rifle.
Well, just about a month ago, that same rifle now sports a price tag of $2665. Th price of that one almost doubled in about 6 months or so.
Since I originally had second thoughts about buying a rifle for $1400, I certainly don't think I will be putting an order in for one at $2665, even it had a premium barrel or a barrel made of Gold.
Add that price to some of the stories I had heard from people who ordered a Custom rifle from Remington and owning one of their Custom Guns is out of the question for me.
