sp101 grips too short
« on: March 27, 2007, 07:29:30 PM »
I have an sp 101 357 mag, but can only get 2 fingers on it. I bought a Hogue grip but it was too uncomfortable. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with Pachmayr grips or others? Thinking about getting a rossi, Taurus, charter arms mag pug or ruger police service 6 with aftermarket grips that will hold 3 fingers if I cannot alter the sp101. Any suggestions?

Would you want to sell the Hogue grip?

Thanks, Jim

yes I will sell the Hogue grip. It is a bit too round for me. How about 12 dollars and I will send it to you. I do not have the directions on how to install it, and it is a bit complicated. There is a screw in the bottom, a forked piece and a cylindrical piece. If you are interested, calll me at 715-845-3834. If you are unable to use it, send it back and I will refund your money.I
suppose a gunsmith could figure it out.    I stumbled upon a Trausch grip in an offbeat gunshop and I liked it and bought it for 24 dollars. Problem solved.

P.S.  The Hogue grip is a rubber grip. See the Hogue website.
