« on: March 28, 2007, 07:16:23 PM »
why did marlin discontinue the marlin 1895RL in .475linebaugh/.480 ruger?

does anyone know of any company that will convert a marlin 1895 to either .475 linebaugh or .500 linebaugh?

i would like to have a nice revolver/levergun combo

It never got out of preproduction.  Wild West Guns has modified the Marlin action to produce the 04.  These are only listed as available in 500 S&W or 454 Casull, but I imagine for the right price they would make one in 475 Linebaugh.
