pro hunter stocks

 I have a pro hunter 209 50cal . my question is does anybody else think the plastic sling studs molded into the stock is a little cheap? my thinking is that carrying the gun by sling, the plastic studs will break sooner or later. What are your thoughts?

Hmmm, my PH stock has metal sling studs, I checked em with a magnet just to be sure. ???

Mine are molded in as well and they certainly look plastic to me. But they held up well during the cold weather rifle deer season. (I don't seem to have a magnet handy.....but when I don't want one I'll probably find a case of magnets).

The plastic "stuff" that they make stocks out of today are of pretty sound materials. Only time will tell if they hold up to the test.

Mine are definitely steel.
They look exactly like the "screw in"  ones that come with a set of swivels.

Mine are steel. I just sent a buttstock back to MSS. The recoill pad was noticeably off center(up and down). Call it being picky but paying around $80.00 for a plastic buttstock I expect more quality than that.

 I checked mine with a magnet and they are plastic. Just wondering if I needed to have concern or not. Thanks for your replies.
