Bullet source

I'm getting a 38-55 H&R and my reading tells me the bores tend to run large (.380-.381 common) and I'm wondering about a source for bullets in this dia that tend to run soft in 20-1 or softer. I don't have any casting equipment so I'll need to buy ready made till I see what it likes before investing in molds.
Any ideas?

Try these at Buffalo Arms:

They are 20:1

handirifle 2 post and you sound like your beat without even trying 38-55 is tuff in any rifle for the most part with todays reloading components but for me its the chase! I have a 38-55 H @ R AND 94 WIN 94 1901 VINTAGE TO DIFFERENT ANIMALS but it was the fun of it to get them to shoot and I got them both to shoot but it took a little tinkering. now I have a ruger ranch 223 I WILL WIN BUT ITS THE CHASE i have more fun sitting in my (Little lab) and going lets try this it might work or not! but that h @ r will shoot .379 soft slug or ream out the chamber your chose I DIDN'T want to put any more money in to the rifle I bought it a good price and I look at my guns as bank and hand loading a cost for fun!!
