Good questions.  I just got her assembled last night so those will have to be answered in the near future.  I am planning on using the same bullet my Katahdin 209x50 shoots which is the 285 gr. Barnes spitzer boattail.  I have to find out what powder will be best for that combo.  I am targeting to get between 2200 to 2400 fps with it.  I have some Q-Load predictions on some powders that look promising.

I shot mine with 300 grain Hornady xtp mag bullets over 42 grains of H110. Seems very accurate but the fiber optic front sight and rear peep sight are not a correct match. I am at the end of my adjustment and shooting approximately 6 inches low at 60 yards. The front sight is too high for the rear peep sight. I plan to contact T/C Monday.
Overalll, a very nice barrel with excellent rifling and finish is awesome. I really like this barrel. I shot some .45 LC and .454 Casull. The .45 LC shot high and the .454 Casull shot low like the .460 ammo. It was a blast shooting the LC. The recoil is pretty good out of the .460 S&W rounds but not enough to make one flench.

Did yours come with a Williams rear peep sight?

Encore58, yes mine came with those sights and I removed them as soon as I got the barrel out of the package..I shoot only optics on my rifles.
