Help me here if you can. SRH 44 mag. Proper trigger pull is using just the first pad of of your fore finger? Is that correct? I have always used my second pad and always been all over the place. Just dry fired the SRH 60 or so times with just first pad and seemed weird at first, but after 20 or 30 pulls felt more natural than second pad. Guess I'm just looking for validation that what I just "discovered" is proper. with using the first pad, my trigger finger is cocked at a 45. guess that is what you want so as to pull straight back instead of jerking. Any thoughts? While I'm at it, 9,10,11 grains of Unique under 255 grain Cast Perf. Anyone use any of these combos for deer. I know what my books say but wondering about actual use. Thanks.

By the way, I can shoot 3/4 inch off the bench with my scope but pattern groups with open sights at 25. The gun shoots, but the shooter doesn't.
Thanks
