Held the new T/C Triumph
« on: March 31, 2007, 04:55:32 PM »
Held the new t/c triumph today.  While many know that I am a T/c fan I did not care for the feel.  It did not shoulder like the omega and the stock is to thick at the grip.  While a will admit that the tool free breech plug is nice it isn't enough for me buy one.  If I wanted to be lasy I would just buy a savage and that will never happen.  The model I held was the composite stock/ blued action the price at my gunshop was like 340.

Richland shooters in pa is the name of the gunshop.  If anyone wants their # just PM me.

I agree with you about the Triumph. I held it at the Montreal sportsman show in Feb. and did not like it at all. It just felt cheap to me compared to the Pro Hunter and Omega. I do disagree with the lazy comment. I bought a Savage at the same show because of the feel and the fit and the capability of being able to shoot smokeless so I can see what I shot after pulling the trigger or the capability to be able to shoot BP subs if I so desire or go on a hunt where small minded people won't let me use smokeless. Just my opinion.
