Well today me and my old man were discussing what to plant and were,so we decided how many acres of corn to plant and after a long week of spreading chicken crap it was time to disc it in.We took to our different ways and got back together at lunch time,and He said you HAD a nice stand of clover over on that plot in the 40acres down the road.Yep he tilled under 1acre of durana clover.I told him to be careful but he said he had the idea of $4.50+ corn on his mind so I really  couldn't blame him...

I does not sound like you will be hurting for a wildlife food source come deer season.  In the mean time, plant new strips of clover in the rows between corn rows and on the access lanes around the fields.  The deer will enjoy both.  Sometimes the clover will return as volunteer plants.  Can't count on that though.
