reloading for the 25 remington

My first deer rifle was 25 remington pump rifle. Well I just brought it home from my fathers today. I want to reload some ammo for it. I have the dies but am not sure of what to convert for brass. They apparently do not make brass for it anymore. Some say 30-30 brass can have the rim turned down or resize 30 caliber brass. Never seen either one to know if it is true.
Does anyone here have any experience for relaoding this caliber?

I just checked Midway usa , they say that they are going to start having the 25 brass but as of now it is not in stock yet also Buffalo arms co. lists that they have loaded ammo for it but it is a little pricey .

Huntington lists 25 Rem Jamison brass, whether they have it is another question.

Turn of last century, smokeless made autos (and pumps) possible. Winchester was milking the lever action. Remington got "out front" with autos and pumps. Data for reloading and pressures should be about the same for .25/35 Winchester round. Lyman has data for alot of these "obsolete" rounds.  I thought that the .30 Remington was a bit larger at the base than .30/30 so making cases is a pain. Huntingtons.com (RCBS Custom Shop) and ch4d.com and others make case forming dies. As said, some .30 Remington cases are supposed to be available. Not real common. And some European cases that could be used with difficulty. And if you only want to shoot a small amount, the pricey ammo becomes a lot better "deal." luck.
