The odd thing is that so many of us have had great experiences with TC.  I have at 10 of their firearms and a bunch of Contender barrels and have had at least a dozen times over the past 20 years to contact them for parts or service.  They have never failed to satisfy me, in fact in most cases go beyond my expectations.  I never have not had a call returned promptly, and the turn around on repairs has been quite quick. This includes work done in the last few weeks.

Why is it so quick for some and so poor for others?

Can't agree more. I believe it has more to do with he is in Canada then anything and the fact you bought one of the most troublesome calibers in the T/C line. I would have done a few things diffrent and to each his own. Good luck and to answer Keith's question I would think it is who ever is handling your case at T/C that has more to do with it than anything.

Theree is absolutely no reason for the 25-06 to be more problematic then any other.
Its' exactly the same case of the 30-06 , So, how the 30-06 goes in the Prohunter ??
As well as many rimless case, 308, 270, 284, 243, 7mm-08......

anyway here's the follow through:

A step above,

After speaking via email to the Sale Manager in charge,
He was very concern about all this ,
The ( secretary ) Mlle Jeanette call me at home and apologize,
She inform me, they have found a VERY good barrel ( 25-06 ) always shooting under 1 MOA.
And ready to be ship to my service center in Canada: Ultimate Accuracy.
I inform her about my fear of buying another barrel for it ( my plan was to buy a 375 H&H )
But , like she says, usually there's no problem , even less with the 375 H&H.

After this phone call, I've send an email at the Manager about my fear of another barrel.

His answer was short: In the same package of the 25-06, i gonna put a  375 H&H, we gonna ship both barrel at
Ultimate Accuracy, and make sure at 100% that's in every way Perfect, then will send it back to you at NO charge.
He  do appreciate my patience in the matter and apologize for the inconvenience. And he conclude by this:
The TC Pro-Hunter should be a great Hunting rifle for you and bring you many years of enjoyment.
Take care, Gary C.

My Opinion: Nice, but I've  run throught a lot of problem before this conclusion
But maybe it's gonna worth it ???

Its not done till i didn't received and test-try my rifle with both new barrel.

By the way: Yesterday I've measure the Headspace, using the brass i've kept for the last shooting session.
A normal Headspace is 6 thousand of an inch
Above 10-12 the rifle is UNSAFE to fire.
The Prohunter 25-06 was at 15.......
That's probably why i was having misfire....

Only had one T/C barrel that wouldn't shoot. I don't see why with all the good reviews it would bother you too much. They handled it well, after you finally got to talk to someone.
