I've had this problem on rifles before, but thankfully not on a T/C barrel. As the T/C is cylindrical where the mount screws on, wouldn't this also induce some "twisting" in the scope? If you managed to get the mount down tight, the added height of the rings would accentuate the error, and put even more pressure on the scope. I can see where it would create some real problems, with POI shifting, when changing power. Doesn't this make sense to y'all?,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Bug.
