Stub Barrel conversion

I have an old Savage .410 shotgun in excellent condition, and a .45 LC take-off barrel from a Uberti '73 , hex in shape in good shape. What are your thoughts on mating this barrel to the shotgun frame, utilizing the stub barrel approach?

It is a completely possible project. If I had that barrel I would do it. I would however use a more modern H&R or NEF shotgun frame and donor barrel in either .410 or 20 gauge. Stub Barrel conversion
