Remington was very kind and I took them on their warranty offer concerning the issue I was having with the Spartan 12/.223. Having said that I was in the market and found a nice only driven on Sundays Valmet 412 with a 12/12 and 12/.222 barrel, scope mount, scope and case. It was a little more than I wanted to pay but was a great deal in todays market...
I should have the gun in a few weeks.
