Does anyone know if the 12g cva optima shotgun barrel is interchangeable with optima muzzleloader receiver?

The Optima Elite 12ga/20ga shotgun barrels will only fit an Elite receiver..You could call the company Monday and find out for sure...http://www.cva.com/products/rifle_opt.htm

I'm not sure,but I think I saw a shotgun barrel for a Optima pro in the barrel selection at Natchezz shooting supplies. You might check there and Bud's gun shop.   Digger

Thanks guys. I emailed CVA on Friday and will wait to hear. I am hopeful the optima pro and optima are the same receiver.

Received email response from Eric Hendricks at CVA today. For those interested, the receiver on the Optima is the same as the Optima Pro. Only difference between the two guns is the length of barrel. Therefor, the shotgun barrel will fit either Optima or Optima Pro. I guess I will try turkey season this year with a muzzleloader. ;D
