600ok stock blank

This is the piece of wood I'm going with for my 600 OverKill being built by AHR. Should look good I'm thinking:

Post a pic when it is done.  By the way, I think the cartridges as designed by Ken Howell and proprietary to AHR are dynamite.

Those shell and the spent bullet look like real elephant fodder.  I looked on AHR site for the 600 overkill and ballistics but the page hadn't been updated except to say that it was available.  Should be Overkill on DG shot in the right place.

Ed @ AHR says they are updating the web sight soon. He also says the 600 is their most popular chambering currently. The impact of these rounds on target is amazing.

Dictator what kind of wood is that? I'm having a Mannlicher built but haven't picked the blank yet. That is a really nice piece of wood.

Jim,
 It's a piece of French walnut. I liked it when Ed @ AHR sent me the picture. It was a little more than their standard AA grade, but not bad.
