I bought one of the BLR stainless/Laminated with the straight grip last year. I went with Grand Slam steel bases (S54) in blue, and Warne Quick Release rings with a Leupold 2X7 scope, all in blue. It looks quite good, I think, as there are a lot of blue/black parts on the stainless BLR, the hammer, sights, magazine, barrel bands are all blue, and the stainless barrel is a different shade than the stainless colored aluminum receiver. I had a silver Weaver V10 that I set along side it after I bought it and decided I didn't need 3 shades of silver on this rifle, so I decided to go with a quick-detach traditional blue set-up. I did try to find some stainless bases, but don't think there were any at that time. If I remember correctly, there weren't a lot of options for the BLR, especially for a stainless one. It is also very frustrating trying to figure out which BLR variation you have to get the right bases, I ordered both BLR sets of the Grand Slam Steel bases, and sent back the wrong ones. I think you'll find if you try some blue bases, and either color of rings, you'll have a handsome set up with your silver scope-
Hope this helps-
