armadillos

I got one or two armadillos tearing up my lawn at night so I can't get a chance to shoot them.
bought a trap but what bait do i use in the trap, can some of you guys help me with ideas to
get rid of them. I know they are grub eaters but that is all i know  about them             
rather hunt with dick chaney then ride with ted kennedy

How about going down to your local fishing bait store and buy a bunch of grubs. Put them in a bucket on your front lawn and sprinkle some rat poison on them. I think that would do it.

i would  wate for theme to come out in the day time  and then shoot them it mate take a little time but it with it. i have shoot a lot in the day time and there is all was wore then one or two so you mite shoot 4 or 5 of them. but if you wont to trap them put worms in a cloth bag.

Don't poison them! With poison you can not control what other animals will eat the poisoned feed or the poisoned armadillo's.

harbor frieight (harborfreight.com) has a garden division, onestopgardens.com where they often have a wire cage live trap on sale. Around $20.- (plus ship). I have heard of shooting the armis... and I believe they go for insects... but in town, especially, you got to work it out. luck.

thanks guys,  I will try the grub and worm trick in the cage then shoot the SOB's !  if I don't see
them in the daytime
