Fired brass won't eject

I am having issues with my NEF .223 HB.  After about 400-500 rounds I started having a few fired cases that wouldn't eject.  I thought it was because my brass had expanded too much since I only Neck sized my brass.  I decided to FL size my brass but it didn't seem to fix it.  I'm shooting 40 v-max's in front of 27.5 gr of 2460.  My brass has had about 4-5 firings and I'm not showing and presure signs on any brass.  I've also tried polishing the chamber with some Flitz but I'm still getting the problem.  It's really a pain to carry around a cleaning rod to pop out stuck cases.  I'm about ready to get rid of the darn thing unless one of you guys can give me something else to try.

I had some of the same issues. Make sure you don't have any kind of oil, grease. case lube or anything on shell casings. This will cause sticking sometimes. Here is something I did, I still have one stick every now and then no matter what. Get a dremmel tool and put on one of the small cutting discs and and cut a little notch . Cut it where case rim touchs the barrel , I keep a small eyeglass screwdriver in one of the shell holders that goes around the stock, just in case. Its a b*tch to carry a cleaning rod in case it happens. you can pop it out easily with the little screwdriver in case it does happen when you least expect it.

Read the FAQs, you can improved ejector performance. This may be obvious, but you'd be surprised how may handloaders don't think they need to trim brass because they only neck size. ;)

I trim all my brass too.  I did notice that a few were stuck because they had a little dirt or grease on them but I've even had clean brass stick.

Once a dirty case gets stuck, some residue may be left behind.  Some chambers are a bit more picky than others.

I'm just brainstorming here....try some new commercial loads and see if they stick. 

As you fire multiple times the case stretches and you need to trim, but this is caused by the brass flowing forward, perhaps the neck is getting thicker.
