Seen a 'used' but new 2007 never fired WU .270 yesterday. Nickel frame, blued barrel, scope mount, synthetic stock w/Whitetails Unlimited medallion. The strange/stupid thing was this being a scope only rifle, it had a standard pistol grip stock, instead of a monte carlo?
You can tell by looking at the scope rail, that it never had a scope mounted. Someone must have won this rifle at a WU banquet, and sold it right away. I know it was a 2007 by the HX serial #.
Can anyone that belongs to WU tell me why they would order this scope only rifle with the standard stock, instead of a monte carlo? If it would have had a monte carlo stock, it just might have followed me home.
