The ranchers have really been losing calves to coyotes this spring. They asked me to help out.I went to an area they call the "big flat".I set up legholds and snared trails coming into the calving grounds.I had to move everything 3 times.I ended up with 41 coyotes,2 fox,2 badgers and 11 skunks.Their losses have really dropped.I did see 2 coyotes in the area last evening.Used lots of gland lure and good coyote urine.Hey Newt I spiced up some coyote gland lure with some otter glands, worked like a charm.Wish the fur would have been good.

I love the smell of coyote gland lure early in the morning. It smells like victory!!

That's FANTASTIC...ya JUST have to remember... grass..gas or..*** NOBODY rides for free!!! I'm currently doing a beaver job in Sun Valley Id... trapping for NOT only Bruce Willis.. but his ex Demi Moore(she lives ACROSS the street???????? )... I have 9 locations going... have FWS permits for over 50 beaver at THIS point..(more coming) and am currently charging them $125 per beaver caught... I make a 140mi round trip every 2 days and have NEVER picked up less than 4 beaver and averaging ALMOST 6 beaver PER check... that's $750.00 PER CHECK every other day!!! Keep in mind that what we DO is an ART] and a SKILL and should be treated as such... these people waited over 3 WEEEEEKS to find someone who could do what I do... at a cost (estimated) of about $10,000 PER DAY in property loss due to beaver!!! (they lost apx $210,000 in the time it took to FIND me!!) My "lowly" fee has them CHOMPING at the bit.... DNR officer in the region thinks he can keep me BURIED till things "freeze over"..MAYBE on a yearly "basis" if I'm "interested" HELLO!!!! ...  ;D sucks to be a trapper doesn't it???  JUST remember if you dont take WHAT you do seriously... REALITY CHECK!!! I'm pulling in $2650 PER week and I'm back home by 11 am... DUDE I've done a LOT of jobs for "trapping permission" in the past.... just remember... the coyotes cost them $$$$$ in losses... it HAS to cost them $$$$ to prevent/stop the same!!! NOBODY should work for free!!!

lnyx/cat trapper   I use to trap for 4 grazing associations here.My health doesn't allow that anymore.I got permission from them to hunt some pastures for Elk that don't ever get hunted.I take this seriously.Nice job on the beaver.
