Mansfield Ohio, Let's Meet

I think it would be nice to meet in person some of the people who post on this board.  The Sea Coast Artillery gang suggested noon at the cafeteria.  Noon at an cafeteria is a busy place. Since the artillery building is our main focus, I suggest we meet there.  The artillery building has two entrances, main entrance to the paved walkway and the rear, to a grassy  area,where there is not as much traffic.  If the "Good Folks", at Sea Coast Artillery wouldn't mind, perhaps they could coordinate a meeting by having a GBOCannons sign, with time and place to meet and maybe a sheet for those of us who are visiting the show to sign, sort of a message board, so we would have an idea who is attending the show.

I suggest meeting at the rear entrance of the artillery building or at the Sea Coast Artillery table, around noon on Saturday. A couple of times during the day there are artillery firing and(in the past) horse artillery demonstration's. It would nice if we could meet and watch the demonstration's together.

Any other ideas out there??

It IS cool meeting other cannoneers at these events!

Take some pictures for the rest of us!

It's easier if you know what the other folks are wearing (like GBO Tee-shirts or hats).

     Thanks, Powder2burn, for some informed information.  Mike and I would be happy to post a GBOcannons sign and a log-in sheet. If the people interested could stop by and say hello at our table we could easily coordinate where to meet later on for the field artillery demo.

I was all set to go, I'm just over in Pittsburgh PA, But then I remembered it's Drill weekend Oh well maybe next year. Have fun Guys.

    Can't wait for this show!!! It's the day after my 49th birthday, and my wife { The Battle Axe,no joke that really is her nickname } is kicking me and 2 of our best friends out of town for that saturday. Sure wish that I could afford a table and hotel over  the whole weekend, but that just isn't in the cards. I will however be bringing some of my works with me and hope to be allowed to show them or possibly even do some fireings that day. Being only 3 hours away in Fort Wayne this will be an easy trip for the day.  Will be sure to look for the GBO signs.
