204 Ruger fluted barrel.
« on: April 19, 2007, 03:32:43 PM »
Well guys I just made another deal on a 204 Ruger fluted barrel in pristine condition. I am like a gitty little kid the night before Christmas. I can't wait to receive it. I have wanted this caliber since it has come out. How do you guys like your 204's ? How are they shooting for you?

I have the Bull barrel not the fluted one that I got about a month ago and I have only shot the factory 32 grain Hornadys  and it still is shooting 1/2" to 3/4" groups. I tried the 40 grain in the Remington and the groups were a little over a 1". The reloading dies and all the rest will come soon. But as a gun straight out of the box it has been one more  great  shooting gun. They are very accurate and I think you will really like it. I have not had any problems at all with mine I'm very satisfied with it.  ;D Good luck with yours,   Jack

I have a 204 and a 223 Fluted, both will shoot 1/2"-3/4" groups...........going out tomorrow and have some fun with them, and my new AR16 223, which has a 1:7 twist. I was happy to find that the AR will shoot 1 1/2" groups with the WWB 45's and 1/2" with the 62 grain rounds. With the 1:7 twist , I was wondering about the 45-50 grain rounds. You will really enjoy ur 204 Fluted, a real sweet round and an excellent rifle.

Hi Dale:

I have a 204 Ruger 22inch BB. Out of the box it shoots 1-1/4 MOA. I have pillar bedded it and plan other mods that I am confident will bring it below MOA consistantly.

Good luck with yours

Mc
