I am ordering a Williams fp-336 rear sight, it is the micro click adjustable one for my 1895 cowboy. My question is: are the stock front sights the proper height for that rear sight for anyone who has used one or do I need a different fron sight?

My Williams 2004 catalog incicates the need for a front sight of medium width and a height of .343 "--measure your own sight 1st.

I hope that's the right size because that's what I just ordered. My factory front sight was .5. I would like a globe someday maybe, but only if I can find a good deal on one.
Thanks for the help.
