Scope Base for 10ga??
« on: April 22, 2007, 01:31:33 PM »
I just picked up a 10ga Turkey gun and am wondering if anyone knows where I may be able to find a Weaver style base for it?

Thank you!

If you have the model that comes drilled and tapped from the factory, H&R's standard Weaver base should work just fine. I am looking at the 10 gauge models myself, and was just on the factory website doing a little research; their scope mount, which according to what I read says it fits every firearm they currently make that is drilled and tapped for it. The mount comes with a hammer extension and costs $18 from their online store. Hope this helps a little :-)

You would use a set of #19 weaver bases for that gun. I just did one & called the factory for that info.  I paid like $10 for the pair. Also you dont need the hammer extension becauce the scope is mounted forward scout style. So you use a pistol scope or red dot. MIke
